We trust you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were able to spend time with family and eat more than should be legal! It was certainly wonderful to make memories with family and share the blessings that the Lord has given us over the last 2 years of deputation.

It has been an extremely busy time here the last few weeks. November found us in Ohio for most of the month. We were able to minister in 7 different churches. It was great to see more churches catch the vision for the lost in Brazil and across the street! I had the opportunity to give the Gospel to one of the hotel attendants as I checked out. The Gospel still works! I must be faithful to give it.

Earlier this week we were able to travel to the Brazilian consulate in Chicago. In spite of a slight setback and some additional paperwork required, we were able to successfully submit all of our visa documents. Now, it is a waiting game. We are praying for a favorable decision and should know in another week or two. Please pray for favor with the Consulate General and that the visa applications would be approved. This has been the culmination of much work and time. Jamie and the kids were so flexible and had such great attitudes through the trips we had to take to get everything sorted out.

December is not quite as busy traveling. We will have the opportunity to travel to northern Wisconsin to report to one of our supporting churches this weekend. Please pray that there wouldn’t be any inclement weather that would impede our trip there and back. When we get back to Elgin we will begin the packing process. We were praying about whether or not to take a container and after much counsel, prayer, and discussion, we decided that we will only take what we can fly. While we have been able to previously consolidate what we owned, there is still much that needs to be sorted and packed. Please pray for Jamie especially as we go through this process. She has been such an encouragement and help to me. I couldn’t imagine going at it these last couple of years without her.

We hope that you all have a wonderful and memorable Christmas season with family and friends. The greatest gift ever given truly is Jesus Christ – born to die on Calvary for you and me. I hope you take some time to reflect on Christ this season and tell someone else about His love, sacrifice, and power. Thank you for your faithful prayer, support, and communication to us. We love you, are thankful for you, and wish you and yours the merriest of Christmases!
