As some of you may know, we applied for our visas last week with the Brazilian consulate in Chicago. There was a lot of paperwork and time involved, but thankfully we were able to get them submitted. At the time we were told to expect to have a decision in about a week or two. I was not anticipating such a quick turnaround time. I was given an online portal to check the progress. I had checked late last week and found that the visas were under review. Earlier this week when I looked, I received an error message stating that our applications were not found. I was a little concerned with this as this was our official notification as well. Jamie and I both prayed that everything had been approved and made plans to go to the consulate to inquire how our visas were coming along. I wanted to pass along the wonderful news that our visas have been approved! As soon as I arrived at the consulate I spoke with the secretary and she handed me our passports with our visas attached. Thank you for your prayer on our behalf. We are only about 60 days away from leaving and so grateful to have you in our corner praying for us! We trust you’ll have a Merry Christmas and blessed New Year for our Lord!
