Dear praying friends,

After a late return flight to Texas a few weeks ago, I began talking with 2 business men at the baggage claim. They were surprised to find that we traveled together as a family. As we exchanged why we were in Texas, one of the men remarked to me, “Your business must be really important!” How true and wonderful it is to be about our Father’s business – the most important business there is!

At Victory Baptist Church in Arkansas I was able to take part of a prison revival. I am thankful that I was able to sing and preach and 2 men trusted Christ as their Saviour! One of the men, David, asked me to continue corresponding with him. Pray for His obedience in baptism and growth in the Lord. Not only were we able to see people saved, but the Lord continued to bless our meetings as we raise up prayer and financial support. We were in 10 new churches and 4 of those have already indicated they would partner with us. We also heard from 3 other churches and 1 individual who also had decided to support us. We are truly humbled to be a part of so many churches’ mission’s families. We are at almost 85% of our support coming in.

I heard it said a while back that while money may get the missionary to the field, it’s the prayers of God’s people that will keep him there. Money is not the answer. We need an army of prayer warriors behind us as we take more steps to His field in Brazil. We need God’s presence and power for the many challenges and opportunities ahead. We desire to be fruitful and faithful investments. Your prayer for us makes this possible.

Lighthouse Baptist Church in Oklahoma was recently a huge blessing to us. After soulwinning with one of the men he asked about changing our oil in our car. One thing led to another and he ended up doing a complete brake job and replacing several components in our suspension system. This was a huge answer to prayer – a time and money saver! We were blown away by their generosity and kindness.

Our time on deputation in growing short. We are anxious to see what God will do next and are grateful to be partnered together in His business for His honor and glory!
