Dear praying friends,
What a wonderful and productive month June was. We traveled over 6500 miles, were in 11 different churches, had 3 new churches vote to take us on, and had 3 promised churches begin their support. We praise the Lord for His goodness to us! I’m constantly amazed at how He has proved Himself faithful to us time and time again as we’ve taken greater steps of faith.
One way that the Lord came through and answered prayer was in the logistics of moving out of our housing. When we were “home” we had 2 rooms at Providence Baptist College. We praise the Lord for our home church’s help in getting and keeping us on the road with low cost living. It really has been a huge help in getting us to where the Lord wants us. With our upcoming schedule and our financial goals in mind, we wanted to best use the money that so many of you sacrificially give. We decided that it was time to move out and purge what we had in preparation for our upcoming first term. We were home for my sister’s wedding, and as busy as it was, we were able to move everything out in just 2 days! The process of moving out and packing up our belongings makes us even more anxious for our home in Brazil. We have been saving for our setup fund, and the very day that we were getting rid of and packing everything, Mrs. Johnson texted Jamie that there was furniture and home goods available for us to purchase at a deeply discounted rate for our home in Brazil! That may seem like a small thing, but to us it was a huge answer to prayer! God has it all planned out. We just have to take a step of faith. He has the logistics already worked out. We just have to go through the doors that He’s opened for us!
Over the next few weeks we are scheduled to be in several churches in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. We will be traveling many miles again this month. We are asking the Lord to continue to bless our efforts in ministry and personally. Our schedule is quite full all the way up to Christmas which is a huge blessing. Please pray that the Lord will continue to raise our support.
Thank you for your prayer and financial support. God moves through His people to sustain His work. God has blessed us with ministry opportunities and answered prayer. There are times when traveling becomes wearisome. It’s during those times that we often remember your friendship and partnership in the Gospel so that we can continue on faithfully for Christ. We are busy making plans for our arrival in Brazil in February of 2020 and seeking His face regarding many upcoming meetings and decisions we need to make. Thank you for your faithful part in our ministry and family.
